Dinner Topic:

In today’s evolving landscape, no team can prevent every challenge or attack from disrupting business operations. True security leadership lies in learning from challenges and incidents and using those lessons to enhance an organization’s overall security posture.

Join Enida Metaj, Governance, Risk and Compliance, Global Cybersecurity, Rockwell Automation and Karla Thomas, Threat Detection and Incident Response Leader, for an engaging and insightful conversation on the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE), a NIST-led effort to promote cybersecurity careers and workforce development.

Until recently, no one from Michigan or the surrounding region was involved in this initiative, prompting Enida to lead efforts to engage local cybersecurity leaders to share their career journeys and inspire professionals from diverse backgrounds to enter the field.
This interactive session will include roundtable discussions on:

  • Understanding NICE's impact on workforce development and the cybersecurity profession.
  • How you can involve local leaders, inspire new talent, and create career pathways for professionals from all backgrounds.
  • How organizations can turn challenges into opportunities.
