Marina Kelly is the CISO for the City of Raleigh, NC, and an experienced leader in information security and technology. With a background that spans multiple industries, she holds a Master’s in Computer Science from UNC Greensboro. After a decade as a teacher in NC public schools, Marina switched to the field of IT. She has served as an IT manager at NC State University and director of technology and a data protection officer for multiple companies. She has led initiatives in information security, privacy, digital transformation, governance, risk and compliance, software engineering and data management. She is the author of the award-winning “Secure Coding with the OWASP Top 10” bootcamp. Marina was honored with the CISOs Connect™ A100 award, recognizing her as a leading voice in cybersecurity.
