Dinner Topic:

Third party risk creates a critical vulnerability in most cybersecurity programs, and CISOs have limited levers within their reach to comprehensively address the threat. During the San Antonio CISO Dinner, Ann Hines and Karen O’Reilly-Smith will lead a discussion on approaches to third party risk, sharing their perspectives on common challenges and practical strategies to build resilient ecosystems.

Participants will contribute their experiences to an interactive discussion, exploring how to:

  • Create leverage with third party security practices and clear escalation paths
  • Automate key processes, monitoring, and reporting to reduce manual overhead
  • Clarify key stakeholders and ownership responsibilities across the third-party lifecycle
