With a strong technical background in network and data communications consulting, I am an experienced information security practitioner with my CISSP focused on the development and maturation of formal information security programs and enjoy building specialized high performing teams while driving business value and growth.

Back in the day, I built several manufacturing plant floor TCP/IP networks before we came up with the term Industrial Control Systems (ICS). Later, I had the opportunity to build multiple security operations and fusion centers for a defense contractor hunting for Advanced Persistent Threats (APT) several years ahead of most of Corporate America.

Now, after building two outsourced IT security operations teams, a threat intelligence center and leading a team of technical security assessment professionals, I am now focusing my energy building and maturing an internal security program, reporting to the CEO, while leading our security, risk, and compliance initiatives.

As of late, I have been focusing on how to incorporate compliance, security and privacy into the overall business strategy as we reduce legal and compliance risk to an acceptable level.
