Andrew Withers is a Senior Manager in Information Security at Lowe’s within the Governance, Risk, & Compliance department. With a passion for cybersecurity education and human risk management, Andrew is dedicated to empowering associates with the knowledge and tools to navigate today’s evolving security landscape. In his current role at Lowe’s, Andrew also focuses on simplifying and strengthening security policies and standards, making them both comprehensive and accessible.
As a UNC Charlotte alum. Andrew began his career in Corporate Finance at Duke Energy before transitioning into IT as a project cost analyst. It was there that he discovered his career in Information Security by assisting with the implementation of a security awareness and training program.

Outside of work, Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife and 4 daughters. He is an avid sports enthusiast and also enjoys tackling DIY home improvement projects in any spare time.
