What Members Say:
Dinner Topic:
Third party risk creates a critical vulnerability in most cybersecurity programs, and CISOs have limited levers within their reach to comprehensively address the threat. During the Boston CISO Dinner, Michael Daly will lead a discussion on how he approaches third party risk at Vertex, sharing the pyramid of levers he is employing to manage third-party risks, and solicit ideas from the participants in the room to share with their peers.
Participants will contribute their experiences and practical strategies to an interactive discussion, exploring how to:
- Create leverage with third party security practices and clear escalation paths
- Automate key processes, monitoring, and reporting to reduce manual overhead
- Use vendors to alert on risks and provide deep dive expertise
- Clarify key stakeholders and ownership responsibilities across the third-party lifecycle
