Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Mary O'Brien is the founder and principal of Mary O'Brien Strategies, LLC, advising boards and executive teams at the intersection of national security and dual-use cyber, AI, and autonomous technology. She retired from the U.S. Air Force in 2023 after 34 years, capping her career as Joint Staff Director of C4/Cyber and Chief Information Officer, J6, with earlier service as Director of Intelligence at U.S. Cyber Command and as Air Force Deputy Chief of Staff for ISR and Cyber Effects Operations. She is an independent director for Tharros, Inc. and National Digital Trust Company, a recipient of the 2024 Rear Admiral Grace Hopper Award, and an NACD Directorship Certified board member.
